I'm a junior in high school and the hardest part about eating healthy for me is school lunches. I don't have time at all to make myself something from home, and i know that the school food isn't the healthiest. So what i've been starting to do is hold myself over until the school day is done and then make myself a lunch at home, therefor i'm going about 7-8 hours without eating. what do you suggest i do in this situation, maybe take a granola bar and eat it as a snack halfway through the day? by fucking-b0mbshell

To be honest, I don’t believe you do not have any time to prepare a healthy lunch every night. I am 22 years old, I go to school 5 days a week, I work 5-6 days a week, and I train 6 days a week. Any down time, I am studying. I still find time to prepare not one, but six meals a night when my days start at 6 am and I don’t get home until 9 pm on some nights. As you can see, I am a “no excuses” type person. You have to have this mentality in order to get what you want. You should never go 7-8 hours without eating. If you HONESTLY cannot prepare a simple meal like a grilled chicken breast salad, or whole wheat turkey sandwich, then maybe pack some leftovers from dinner, or eat a protein bar/drink a protein shake and some fruit for lunch. Carry snacks with you like a granola bar or handful of almonds or walnuts to eat before or after lunch, but not AS your lunch. Good luck, girl! And remember, NO EXCUSES!
